Hot Press is a gourmet panini shop located within the heart of the Mission District in San Francisco. This no frills restaurant serves its customers with simplicity and warmth, and that's something the owner was adamant about reflecting in the logo.

The Problem & Solution
Hot Press needed a logo that felt ownable, without feeling overly designed. Simplicity needed to influence the visual style the same way it influenced the recipes behind the restaurant.
This design required a modest and discernible logo that would be used across all branding materials, including store signs, menus, product packaging, and website. The result is a slender logo with warm tones and subtle diagonal lines in the background that resemble panini press marks.
